iZem
DJ, journalist, musician and producer born in France of Celtic and Moroccan origins, iZem is largely accountable for global warming due to his massive emission of musical vibrations in many capital cities of the world. His adventures led him to play and live in various music hotspots such as Recife (br), Casablanca (ma), Valencia (es), Paris (fr), Dublin (ie) and Buenos-Aires (ar). An itinerary which brought its share of meetings with various major artists from the global scene: Gilberto Gil, Balkan Beat Box, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Gnawa Diffusion... from the hip-hop of his childhood to Buenos Aires cumbia or morrocan underground scene, DJ Izem weaves his musical web: the Groovalizacion.
Cucurucho
He speaks many languages, all of them badly to tell the truth. He’s still traumatized from having had to ride his sister’s pink bicycle as a child. He supports a football team but not always the same one. He’s not too good at dancing with someone but he’d like to learn. His mum still buys his clothes and underwear. He never forgets to switch off the light when he comes out of the toilets. He prefers dark-haired women even though he always goes out with blondes. He started saving money 2 weeks ago to buy a house on the coast of Senegal. He loves both radio and music. He’s convinced that what’s said to be pure is always the result of a mix.
